PRIVACY POLICY

Cooee is a service of Rift Digital (ABN 49 434 507 788), based in Margaret River, Western Australia. This policy explains what personal information we collect, why, and how we look after it.

WHAT I COLLECT

When you order or contact us, we collect:

- your name, business name, email, phone number and billing address

- your ABN, if you add it at checkout

- the details you send for your card: logo, photo, job title, contact details, website and social links, and your Google review link

- a record of what you bought and when

We don't see or store your card number. Payments are processed by Stripe, which handles your payment details securely.

WHY WE COLLECT IT

- to build, host and update your digital business card and QR codes

- to process your payment and send you a tax invoice

- to contact you about your order, changes or support

- to meet my tax and legal record-keeping obligations

I don't sell your information, and I don't use it for advertising.

WHAT'S PUBLIC ON YOUR CARD

Your card is designed to be shared. Anything you ask me to put on it, like your phone number, email and photo, can be seen by anyone who opens your card link or scans your QR code. Only send us details you're happy to share publicly.

WHO I SHARE IT WITH

We use trusted service providers to run Cooee, including Stripe for payments and providers for website hosting and email. They only receive what they need to provide their service. Some of these providers may store data outside Australia, including in the United States.We only use providers that protect personal information to a standard similar to Australian privacy law.

We'll also share information if the law requires it.

HOW WE PROTECT IT

Your information is stored in password-protected systems with two-factor authentication where available. We keep order and invoice records for as long as tax law requires, currently five years. If you stop using Cooee, you can ask me to take your card offline and delete the details I no longer need to keep.

WEBSITE ANALYTICS

My website may use basic analytics to count visits and see which pages are useful. This data is not used to identify you.

ACCESS AND CORRECTIONS

You can ask to see the personal information we hold about you, or ask us to correct it, at any time. Email us and we'll respond within 30 days.
